Since the wild storms last week I've been following the news of the lost containers from the MV Zim Kingston. The pictures of refrigerators, toys and other items littering the coast got me thinking about the choices we make as consumers. Do I really need that toy, piece of clothing, etc? Can I find a similar item that is made closer to home?
Those questions are a part of every choice I make at Vessel Refillery. I buy primarily from Canadian companies. I look for products made in Canada and give preference to BC brands. Not everything meets this criteria 100%, but it comes close.
